Kindergarten Program in Calgary
Early Discoveries strives to enhance your child’s decision making as well as communication skills with the help of its kindergarten program. Our program follows the Alberta Learning Kindergarten Statement. It is a government-approved and funded program with Alberta certified teachers. A non-refundable fee of $300 will be charged at registration. This fee is for school supplies and field trips. Please note that your child must be 5 years of age by December 31st of the current school year in order to join Kindergarten.
Develop Your Child’s Self Worth and Independence
Children will be encouraged to develop self worth and independence. A strong concentration will be placed on individual development with emphasis placed on language arts, math, science, and fine arts. Decision-making skills will be developed and communication skills will be enhanced through opportunities to speak effectively in class. Learning centres, special activities, along with in-class and out-of-class experiences enhance this educational program.
