Early Discoveries Nursery School offers different types of programs for children between the ages of 1-3 years in Calgary. Each program is made keeping in mind the different needs and interests of children between these ages.
The Wilbury Gang
(Mom and Tot)
Early Discoveries Nursery School in Calgary has specially designed this program for the 2- and 3-year-olds that are too young for a regular nursery school classroom, or for children that may have a problem with separation anxiety. This imaginative program allows children to discover and interact with our puppet “Wilbur”, combining education and entertainment. The class is presented in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The program will introduce children to school routines with Mom or Dad participating alongside for encouragement and support.
Stepping Stones Program
(For children who are 2 1/2 years old - class size 12)
This program is designed for children who are ready for an unparented program but who are too young for preschool. Stepping Stones runs at our Thorncliffe location in the Good Shepherd Church with a teacher and a teacher’s aide. Classes are offered Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:15 – 11:15. Children who turn 3 years old by December 31st of the current school year may transition to a 3-year-old preschool class if there are vacancies.
